Neem Tree in Ayurveda
A herb used in Ayurveda. Unani and homeopathic for medicinal purposes from thousands of years. Neem leaves contain quercetin antibacterial, catechin, and polysaccharides anti-inflammatory compounds. Its leaves reduce inflammation of joints and associated infections. It is free of side effects. Reduces pain and improves the function of immune system.
Other over the counter drugs have side effects. They cause irritation of the stomach. There are chances of ulcer and bleeding in upper gastrointestinal tract after taking a long time. So neem leaf extract is safe and effective in arthritis cure.

Its extract has one of the strongest antifungal properties. Compounds gedunin and nimbidol of leaves have effective against fungal and yeast infections. So neem leaf extracts used for athlete’foot, ringworm and candida infection.

Neem face pack with Multani mitti
We make this pack easily. It is best for acne and pimples. Regular use of this pack lighten the darks spots and gives fair complexion. Multani little nourishes the skin.
For this take equal quantity of dried neem leaves powder, multani mitti and rose water. Apply to the face and neck. Keep it for 20 minutes and then wash with cold powder.
Neem and yogurt pack
Take 2 teaspoons of dried neem leaves powder and one teaspoon of besan. Add yogurt and make a thick paste. Apply it twice a week. Apply on the skin of face and neck for 20 minutes. wash with fresh water.
Its leaves are anti-inflammatory and antibacterial in nature. Yogurt moisturizes the skin and reduces dryness. The combination of both these effective remedy in acne treatment.
Neem leaves with rose water
When there is acne comes immediate relief by this treatment. Make a paste with dried leaves powder and rose water. Apply this on the affected area for overnight and see the results.
Safety of neem tree products
Neem seed oil for EXTERNAL use ONLY.
Do not take neem products orally either you wants pregnancy or if you are pregnant.
Never give any neem products to children with fever.
Take neem leaf in a small amount at the start of treatment.

Neem twigs and bark – First chew young supple branch and then use a toothbrush. It is effective against dental caries and gum disease. For this purpose, you can use toothpaste, bark powder, and mouthwash.
Home remedies of neem products
Take 4 parts of neem leaves and 1 part of fresh turmeric make a paste. Apply to the affected part and after drying wash with fresh water.
Take a neem bath by adding leaf extract or neem oil in a bath. Soak parts in a bath for 15 to 20 minutes and wash with neem soap. Then applying neem lotion to the parts.
Neem home remedies for oral care
One of the best use of neem is for oral health care. At home, we use dried leaf powder for brushing the teeth. Chew twigs and then use as brush daily.
Remedy for acne
Soak the leaves in hot water. After sometimes make a paste of these leaves and apply to the affected areas.
Boil the leaves in water for some time. Then strain it and apply this water. leave for some time then wash it.
Home remedies for head lice
Take 5 teaspoons of neem oil and mix with 10 teaspoons of your carrier oil. Apply it to the scalp. Leave it for an hour or overnight. Wash hairs with neem shampoo. Next week apply neem shampoo every second day leave for 10 minutes then wash. Do this for next 10 days you get good results.
How to make your Neem shampoo or lotion?
Add 1 to 5 ml of oil in 100 ml lotion or shampoo.
Oil can also add to other carrier oil either almond or olive oil. Use 2 to 4 mo neem oil in every 100 ml of carrier oil. Neem oil smell is very bad so you add few drops of sandalwood or lavender oil. For sensitive skin please first test it.
